You are welcome to make use of our south-facing rear garden, which backs on to the river. There is a decked area by the river with chairs and a table - a perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee or a glass of wine. The garden is a haven for birds and you will often see herons, egrets and buzzards in the surrounding fields. From spring onwards swallows swoop overhead and over the river. If you are lucky, you may see a kingfisher “flash” down the river or, if you are even luckier, an otter!

Guest Reviews

Overall rating: 4.9 out of 5
Godney is comfortable, peaceful, charming; Martyn and Kay welcoming and attentive( making sure the central heating stayed on for our late arrival back from concert) We had tea and cakes in the summer house on arrival; beautiful views overlooking the stream and across the levels . We wish there was a b&B like this everywhere.
